Welcome to Real Hidden Mickeys! The goal of this site is simple...to extend the magic of the Disney theme parks to your own neighborhood.

My family is all in the Chicago-land area, so we only make it to WDW every couple years or so. We are all very big Disney fans so we fill those gaps in between trips by talking about the parks, watching/listening to park video/audio, etc. Another thing we enjoy (this time inside the parks) is locating Hidden Mickeys (HM's from here on out)...and using HM books or the Internet is strictly prohibited! :)

I was cleaning my bathroom when I noticed that one of the designs on the shower curtain formed a perfect HM. (See below for the first post) I instantly felt that Disney connection and thought it would be neat if there was a blog which compiled images of HM's outside the parks. As far as I could tell, this was an avenue that had never been explored online. My hope is this will be another way people can get a little of that Disney magic as they countdown the days to their next trip.

I want to extend a special "Thank You" to Ricky Brigante from Inside the Magic for visiting my booth at ITM-con, and for his generous remarks. Secondly, a big "Thank You" to everyone who has contributed and visited so far. And most importantly, SPREAD THE WORD! I truly believe this can be an entertaining activity for Disney fans of all ages.
